Studio Project 1.1
Studio Project 1.1 was a group project that incorporated themes of Punk-Rock into teen/kids-wear. Our designs were showcased at the APSN Charity Fashion Gala in 2023. I worked with my partner, Chelsea Chua on the research, design and construction of one top, and one vest.
Top and vest
We utilised techniques like fraying, patchworking and bleaching for this look. We also incorporated the use of safety pins for the top, and hand-drawn, hand-sewn patches for the vest.

Material and inspiration board
We worked closely with our model, Jayden, who is a 9 year old boy. We get his input on our design changes, making sure that he is comfortable with every aspect of the garments. We do our best to incorporate his interest in Spider-Man and Roblox, making them elements of the finished look.
