Draping 2
In this module, I designed and constructed a signature gown. It features a bustier with boning,a zero-waste skirt and is fully lined. I utilised delicate fabrics such as satin and red organza. The dress is embellished with a combination of applique and hand beading.

Initial sketch
The final gown came out quite differently, but I made sure to keep the core elements consistent with the sketch. I wanted to create the illusion of a dress dripping in blood. To achieve this, I used fabrics like a deep red organza and black satin
Bustier top
The bustier would continue to undergo several changes, but I made sure the fitting was as flush to the body as possible. To achieve the "bloody" look, I layered red organza over black satin, with ruching at the side panels to give the organza texture. I also used a combination of applique and hand-beading for the embellishments
